Super Duper is here
My friends,
Over 20+ years in the creative industry, I’ve seen (and weathered) a lot of its ups and downs… new tech, social media, changing economies… These days, the creative industry is shifting big again, and the people feeling it most are the ones just starting out. Which, let’s be honest, is pretty shit.
Students, juniors, early-stage creatives… you’re not just being squeezed financially, you’re carrying the mental side of it too.
You’re constantly being told you’re replaceable. That AI is coming for your job. That the thing you’ve spent years learning might not matter anymore.
And after a while, that kind of noise starts to play gams with the old brain.
But, a lot of this noise is lazy thinking at best, because there is no future creative industry without creative people. And a world without creatives is not a world I, or anyone I speak to, wants to see.
So… instead of just talking about it, I’ve teamed up with my awesome pals at Affinity to actually do something about it. The Affinity team is full of wonderful humans, and we share many of the same values and goals when it comes to making the world a better place and helping creative people from all walks of life succeed.
So here we are… INTRODUCING THE SUPER DUPER® MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, sponsored by Affinity.
The Super Duper Mentorship is a free four-month program designed to help emerging creatives build confidence, momentum, and real career opportunities.
(*For the Mentorship,“emerging” means 5 years or less in the industry. If you’re further along in your creative journey, stay tuned for another program I’ll be launching later this year.)
The program is f-r-e-e. Properly free. Not watered-down, stripped-back, “you get half the experience” kind of free… it’s the real fucking deal.
It doesn’t matter where you’re based, what creative discipline you’re part of, what software you use, or where you’re at with your skillset. We’re all about backing people who are willing to show up and take action.
Each cohort of the Super Duper Mentorship will have 100 creatives in it. If you don’t get in the first time, there’ll be another intake, and another after that. We’ll keep this going every year, for as long as people have the energy to show up and participate.
If you’re a designer, artist, illustrator, photographer, or just a generally creative human wanting to make cool shit… this has been built for you.
Key Dates:
Applications Open: today, 30th June 2026
Applications close: 14th July 2026 (you’ll hear back from us by the 24th of July)
Doors open for Cohort 1: Monday 3rd August 2026
Weekly calls: Tuesdays, 6pm BST
The Mentorship will run online inside the private Super Duper Circle community, hosted by myself and some very special guest appearances.
What the Mentorship Covers:
The program runs in two phases.
Phase One: Reframing and Rethinking
The first 90 days, we’ll focus on mindset, clarity, and direction. You’ll work through the habits, assumptions, and overthinking patterns that often hold creatives back.
You’ll explore:
creative positioning
pricing and boundaries
reputation and trust
building an offer around your skills
We’ll help you move from confusion and hesitation to confidence and clarity.
Phase Two: Action and Application
The final 30 days of the mentorship are where things get practical.
We are going to build something real together:
We will create some cool artwork
Pop it onto some cool product
Send you the items for freebies
You can sell them to make some monies.
Everything in the Super Duper Mentorship is practical and built around participation.
You’re not just taking in advice, you’re applying it and taking action. Testing ideas, getting feedback, and refining as you go.
By the end of our four months together, you’ll go from being good at your craft to becoming a more employable and entrepreneurial creative who can build opportunities around your skills, have real (and meaningful) conversations with real people, and turn your ideas into something that actually works in the real world.
Let’s fucking go.
And if you know someone who’s early on in their creative journey, send this their way. A friend, a son or daughter, a colleague… anyone who needs a bit of direction and a proper shot.
I need your help to get this in front of the right people.
